Post date: Jul 12, 2019 5:44:50 AM
The Sisters of the Divine Shepherd Novitiate House in La Union has received a tranche for Water System Project for the benefits of our sisters and the community in Brgy. Cupang, Sto. Thomas, La Union. In Drilling we encounter many problems, such as transportation from Valenzuela to La Union. The scarcity of Water to be use in drilling, looking for constructor to do the job, and the soil eroded from time to time because it is sandy. No available materials for the deep well we have to buy in Valenzuela some of the materials needed for the said project. We contacted the constructor who drill in Tahanang Mapagpala Center and it was good that he accepted our proposal, but it is more expensive for it is too far from La Union. It is also hard to look for Laborer, to look for transportation. Then we were able look for a jeep to transport their equipment and hired to fetch water for drilling every day. It was finished last March 25,2019 with all our efforts job will done with 150ft deep and we have now water for our sisters and the community as of now the water still salty but little by little it becomes fresh water.
Our heartfelt gladness and thanksgiving for your kindness and generosity for the great help you have shared to us which give great difference. We believed that God who is so good will richly bless you in all your plans and endeavor. He will never leave you unrewarded. God bless you in your noble works for the greater Glory of God. - Mo. Ma.
